Leadership Programs: Action Learning Workshop
|
What is Action Learning?
The Action Learning Workshop is a two to three-week leadership program to obtain long-term strategic results. It uses a methodology based on the Action Learning Process that develops people and improves organizational results by working a real business project, strategic initiative, challenge or problem. Cross-functional and diverse business unit participants will bring fresh and divergent ideas to the problem. No experts are allowed. The ALW leverages this model by having participants work on a challenge for strategic growth and interaction is with multiple business units.
Why do this?
The ALW provides benefits to both participants and their managers:
- Participants develop their leadership by learning how
to look at problems in new ways, how to take risks and make
tough decisions outside their area of expertise
- Senior leaders get an opportunity to assess talent within their organization in an action solving a real-world problem environment
- Optional - Participants could get an opportunity to interact with and learn from the leading thinkers in the industry as well as senior management
- The output of this work results in real, concrete and actionable solutions
Who should do this?
This workshop is suitable for all levels of the organization.
